Terms of Service
These terms apply to everyone who creates a wishlist (an “owner”) or sends a gift (a “guest”) on WishlistNG. All amounts on this platform are in Nigerian Naira (NGN).
1. Accounts
You must give accurate details when you sign up. You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping your password private. We will never ask for your bank password, card PIN or OTP.
2. Wishlists and gifts
Owners decide what appears on a wishlist. Guests reserve items or send cash gifts directly through the platform. Reserving an item is a promise made to the owner, not a payment to us. Cash gifts are final once paid and are not refundable except where a payment was charged in error.
3. Fees (9%)
We deduct a 9% platform fee from successful cash gifts before payout. The fee covers payment processing, fraud checks and platform costs. Fees shown on your dashboard are always the amounts we will actually deduct.
4. Payouts
Funding for a wishlist stops at 23:59 (WAT) on its end date. The next day, we prepare a payout for the money collected. Payouts are sent only to a Nigerian bank account whose details you have verified in your settings. Large or unusual payouts may be held for manual review before release.
5. Prohibited use
Do not use WishlistNG for fraud, money laundering, illegal fundraising, or to impersonate another person. We may suspend a wishlist and hold funds where we reasonably suspect abuse.
6. Liability
We provide the platform “as is”. We are not responsible for whether an owner uses gifts as described, or for items bought by guests from third-party stores.
